Just over an hour from London, West Sussex is perfect for a romantic tryst away from the capital. The countryside is beautiful: rolling fields giving way to the glorious South Downs, which in turn lead down to the south coast. There's plenty to do too: historic houses and gardens, pretty towns filled with antique shops to browse and the great outdoors to explore either on two wheels or two feet. Our selection of the best hotels with hot tubs in West Sussex are a charming collection of predominantly country house hotels which will make your getaway that much more enjoyable. If you want the privacy of your very own hot tub, you'll need to head to South Lodge, just outside Horsham (book the Godman Suite or Farriers Suite and you'll be rewarded with a 15m2 private terrace and a hot tub for up to four). The other proprties we have selected have hot tubs attached to their spas. But don't let that spoil the mood — they're all romantic spots, with gourmet cuisine and superb facilities.
