Two and a half hours by high-speed train from Seoul, Gangneung sits on South Korea’s east coast. • Fly to Gangneung Airport, or to the much larger Incheon International Airport — one of the busiest in the world. Incheon is 3.5 hours from Gangneung by train. Most hotels will be happy to arrange an airport pick up in advance.
