Established in 1859, Breckenridge is proud to be the oldest continuously occupied community in the Rocky Mountains, fusing a love of outdoorsy adventure with a rich history — making it all the more appealing to visitors. The nearby National Forests offer fascinating wildlife spotting and walking, whilst the Blue River is ideal for kayaking, rafting and canoeing.

  • Fly to Eagle County Regional Airport, an hour and 15 minutes' drive away, or to Denver International Airport, 2 hours from Breckenridge. Hire a car or take one of the regular shuttle services to town.
