For those searching for a bucolic idyll, far from the madding crowds, we'd suggest you look at Dorset. This county seems to have missed out on the majority of the traffic that heads straight past and on to Devon and Cornwall. Yet here you'll find beautiful countryside and a stunning coastline, three quarters of which is a World Heritage Site. Our recommendations for the best hotels with hot tubs in Dorset, should satisfy those looking for a chic seaside vibe or those seeking a traditional country house feel.
If romance is on your mind and privacy is what you want, you'll have to book Summer Lodge's Ivy Cottage. However if you can't stretch to that (prices start at £655 per night B&B), the hotel also has a spa where you'll find a hot tub for all to use.
Our other two recommendations are located in the increasingly trendy Christchurch, a great place for a short romantic break with plenty to do and see on the doorstep. Our hotels don't offer private tubs, but you'll find them in top notch spas - perfect for a pampering weekend.
Our pick of the best hotels with hot tubs in Dorset follows, but the order bears no reflection on our preference! To check a hotel's availability click the "check prices" button beside the property.
