“A small, simple and very friendly guesthouse in the attractive, and largely residential Cannaregio area of the city. Ten minutes walk from the Rialto and handily placed for the railway station and boats to Burano, Torcello and the airport. A cosy stay that's superb value for money. ”

Hotel review

With a small garden in front and canals and two bridges behind, 3749 Ponte Chiodo is an unpretentious but comfortable and welcoming B & B in a delightfully untouristy part of the city. Rooms are quite small, and the bathroom may be across a corridor, but nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast with fellow-guests, around an oval table inside or in the garden, is as substantial as it is social; and you can help yourself to a hot drink, fruit or cake from the kitchen at any time of the day. The streets and canals around hum with daily life and children going to school; and the Grand Canal, Ca’ D’Oro, many churches and lively restaurants are within easy reach.
