“A hip seaside hotel with interiors inspired by the coastal glamour of the '60s & '70s. White textiles are paired with pale wood & cane furnishings, plus uninterrupted ocean views. Life centres around the infinity pool, lively bar & two terrific eateries. A timeless holiday escape in Port Stephens.”

Bannisters Port Stephens, Australia hotel review

"A Sixties motel in Port Stephens, Australia, given a sparkling makeover and a Rick Stein restaurant... The lobby is open-plan, with notes of mint green and millennial pink, and there’s an Airstream in one corner filled with bottles of Veuve Clicquot. Just beyond, the infinity pool is the most brilliant electric blue; a thing of limpid temptation, seemingly primed to be colonised at any given moment by a quasi-philosophical influencer and a boyfriend with a drone. Crisp but breezy, the place feels very modern but also precisely like holidays."
