Big and blue, it certainly is. In fact, there are 157 rooms and suites – all modern and spotless – including family options with bunk beds for the children. Situated right next to the Pleasure Beach, the four-star hotel might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but helpful staff, spacious bedrooms, excellent food (with a good children’s menu), a gym and sea views, make it a welcome addition to Blackpool’s hotel scene and popular with young and old alike. There’s no lack of choice when it comes to breakfast, and the relaxed brasserie and bar are popular in the evening. Massages can be arranged, Playstations can be borrowed and the reception staff can even organise your Pleasure Beach tickets.
