The coloured glass panels outside this welcome addition to the Hong Kong hotel scene give a hint of what’s in store within. The Prat Avenue branch of the Butterfly Group is fun and contemporary, from the glossy reception through to the boldly colourful bedrooms and suites. Kitted out with all the latest comms and entertainment technology, these also have good beds, decent-sized desks, microwaves, fridges and kettles. For meals, choose between Italian specialities at Al Dente, one of the only restaurants in the city where you can dine al fresco, and Yakitori, Sashimi or Sushi at the well-regarded Syaku Kan.
