Hotel Review
In the safe hands of current owners since 1996, this gorgeous 1920s property underwent a two-year renovation process. Today Essenwood House is so much more than just a B&B. Behind its salmon pink façade are six uniquely decorated rooms, four of which include private terraces and verandahs. Decorated in a cosy, homely style they all feature large bathrooms with separate bath and shower units. Little extras such as tea and coffee making facilities plus fruit baskets are a welcome addition. A sumptuous breakfast of locally produced foods is included in the rate whilst dinner can be arranged on request. Town can be viewed from a sun dappled tropical garden and is but a short drive away – but you’ll probably find yourself more drawn to the pool!
