“This hotel is housed in a historic country residence in the Argentine pampas. The grand guestrooms feature antique furniture and original heritage features; book all five rooms for a family stay. Unwind with a poolside cocktail after exploring the grounds on horseback; an authentic rural getaway.”

Hotel review

The Argentine pampas have an almost mythical reputation as the land of lone gauchos and untamed nature; Estancia La Oriental offers the best of that tradition to guests, boasting an unbeatable location on an authentic country estate with a functioning cattle farm and stables. Guestrooms are located in the main house, a property that dates back to the 1900s. Interiors have been impeccably restored with great attention to detail, giving you the sense of stepping back in time once you reach the hotel. At just five bedrooms, it is an intimate guesthouse, easily booked exclusively for a family or a group trip. The house is set within 2,500 acres of beautiful land, comprising the farm, stables, pool and a forest. Guests are free to explore the grounds on foot, by bike or on horseback, with riding lessons available for all levels. Book a canoeing trip on the nearby lake or reserve a class in 'asado' or traditional barbecuing; a breathtaking escape to the country.
