Whether you are looking for an unforgettable honeymoon experience, a relaxed family holiday or a refined spiritual retreat, this resort offers something for everyone. With an array of suites and private residences dotted in the hills overlooking the bay of Petite Anse, all guestrooms have beautiful views of the sunset over the Indian Ocean from private verandahs and/or spacious living rooms; book an oceanview villa for a spectacular infinity pool overlooking the water. Four Seasons Resort Seychelles

This five-star bigwig opened in 2009, but is still topping the award charts as one of the 50 most luxurious hotels in the world. It’s hardly surprising given the superlative setting of its 67 private villas and 27 residences around the picture-perfect bay of Petite Anse.
