Hotel Review
Hotel Alaia is the ultimate boutique hotel and chic getaway at an affordable price. Situated at the cusp of the Punta de Lobos peninsula, and a stone’s throw away from the center of town, Alaia itself acts as a private enclave that caters to the vacationer who seeks complete relaxation or days packed with fun-filled activities. Guests are invited to stay in one of the hotel’s 12 private bungalows, each designed with floor-to-ceiling glass windows and personal terraces that boast some of the most breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, against the backdrop of rolling fields of native plants and succulents. An eco-friendly establishment, the hotel blends into its environment, with the exterior built-up from local woods and black rocks, while the interior incorporates raw wood panelling and minimalist design.
Equipped with a pool, lounging areas with daybeds and hammocks, as well as a network of wood-fired hot tubs, Alaia offers its guest endless nooks where they can find privacy to sunbathe or take a dip just outside their doorstep. For the more adventurous, its selection of paddleboards, in-house skatepark and rock-climbing boulder wall are readily available. From its structures to its food, Alaia prides itself in its environmentally-conscious approach, with its restaurant serving up organic dishes, from sea-to-table lunch and dinners to burger nights.
