On a quiet pedestrianised street, close to the Placa Catalunya and Las Ramblas, the minimalist 3 star Hotel Denit offers a peaceful refuge. Rooms are clean, bright and functional - bed, desk, chair, cupboard and a good bathroom. What more could you want? Breakfast? That's on offer too, in the basement - bright and again functional - help yourself and sit either at tables for two or larger ones for all to sit at. There's also a bar at reception if you are thirsty but otherwise frequent the local bars and restaurants which are on your doorstep. Central location with no frills and reflected in the price.
