Few hotels attesting to look like a ship could pull of the design of this hotel within Golden Cape Natural Park. Curvy lines above give way to a splendid outdoor pool below, with uniform rows of white loungers. The same goes for the club upon the pebbly beach, with personalised service, for example towels, drinks and excursions catered to your needs. For the night owls, the hotel has its own night club. For the early birds, enjoy a game of tennis on one of eight outdoor courts followed by healthy breakfast at Vitality deli. The spa is sublime, and unlikely to be frequented only once. Be warned, this hotel is minimalist, yet pulled off with aplomb.

The gleaming-white Y-shaped building rises out of the forest like a landlocked cruise ship; light-flooded, airy interiors incorporate flowing beige-golden fabrics, hanging gardens, rich murals, and an ethereal suspended steel sculpture in the six-story lobby.
