Hotel review

The garage is full of the largest German cars and a showcase in the hall displays diamonds. It’s a place where you pay for everything (wi-fi, the garage, etc.) but if you are staying there, you probably won’t notice. English hunting and coaching prints in the panelled bar contribute to a male, malt-whisky-ish atmosphere. It’s not too grand for piped music, but it is Beethoven. Terrific views, but carpet planting, plastic chairs (and ground elder) in the garden. They are building a pool. Small spa. A rich man’s hotel. Now unrelated to the Venetian Cipriani establishments.
