Don’t be put off by the reception area. Beyond it lies a charming collection of 16 up-to-the-minute rooms and suites, spacious and thoughtfully decorated, some in art deco style (the owner’s a great enthusiast.) Good pool. Once the townhouse of a Thakur from Umaid Nagar, 45km from Jodhpur, this hotel is also the family home of the owners who live on this property and bring in organic produce from their farm to serve in the restaurant. There are also two other restaurants nearby.
