All the rooms in this hotel have had their 'fourth wall' removed, creating jaw-dropping views of the Piton Mountains across the water. This architectural gem uses bridges and private staircases to each room, creating a real sense of privacy which is continued with the private infinity pools. The room decor is understated cool with mosaics and creamy marbles in the enormous bathrooms, and big mirrors and gauzey four-posters in the bedrooms. All manner of activities can be arranged, with bicycle rental, scuba diving and trips on the hotel yachts. Dinner is a grown-up affair on the terrace, with treats from chef Allen Susser such as kingfish ceviche and coffee-crusted filet mignon. The spa is excellent and yoga lessons can also be arranged. For ambience and style, this one is unmatchable.
