A most luxurious way to place to go in search of tigers, and a whole host of other creatures from leopards to wild elephants, barking deer, sloth bears, and a whole host of birdlife. Without exception, the best place to stay in Corbett National Park. Cottage rooms are ideal for families (no adjoining but they are located right next door to one another) whilst lodge rooms are enormous and without private verandas provide total seclusion. They are committed to conservation, so you won't find any bathtubs here, but the amenities are very plush for a jungle stay. The food is superb, much of which comes from the property's own organic vegetable garden. A choice of tasty Western dishes and all your Indian favourites is on offer, as well as DIY salads to start. Breakfast if your choice of "the best coffee in Uttarakhand" (not about to argue with that), fruit salads, cereals, and eggs to order. And make sure not to miss the afternoon tea! General Manager, Rati, runs a tight ship around the property and in the kitchen whilst in-house photographer and naturalist, Manoj, is the expert when it comes to all things wildlife. A hotel that practices what it preaches, you will not be disappointed.
