The family-owned Blizzard has a special place in the heart of Val d’Isère residents and devotees, with a bar (and barman) to which everyone, from teenagers to ski instructors makes a beeline for its relaxed atmosphere, open fire and sumptuous sofas. The hotel itself is comfortable and convenient, with an indoor/outdoor pool and good food in its restaurant. The generally spacious bedrooms are in modern Alpine style, and the spa is a great place to unwind after a hard day on the slopes.

Why do people love staying in your hotel? It is a family owned and managed property where the atmosphere feels like home. What is there to do in the area? Skiing, in one of the most beautiful ski areas in the world, the “Espace Killy”, with more than 300 km of slopes, open from late November to early May. Also, as the hotel is right in the heart of the village, we are only few steps from the old centre, shops, restaurant, night life… What kind of breakfast do you offer? Breakfast is served buffet-style in the restaurant with more than 70 different products. It is also possible to have it continental style in the room. Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally? The hotel runs 2 restaurants : - Straight from the market cuisine is served at “Le Blizzard” Gourmet Restaurant which overlooks the Bellevarde slopes (open for lunch and dinner). - Savoyard restaurant “La Luge” is famous in Val d’Isère for its local Savoy specialities (open for dinner). Lunch and gouter can be served on the terrace by the swimming pool, overlooking the mountains and slopes. Which are your most popular room types, and why? Our luxury rooms (for 2 people) are perfect for a couple with all the comfort you need. Also, our family suites (for 4 people) as the family can stay all together, the parents in their own room and the children in a separate area with bunk beds equipped with TV (which they love!), they share a separate living room.
