Native Manchester is very much a tale of two halves. The first comes in the form of 162 apartments/hotel rooms spread over six floors and round a central industrial atrium. Value for money the bedroom and bathroom are as spacious as any with comfy beds, good showers and plenty of cupboard space, but on top of this they come with a huge sitting room, TV, table, chairs, sofa and a well kitted out kitchenette with fridge, coffee machine, sink, micro, plates, glasses, cups and cutlery and again plenty of storage. If you are here for a few nights, it’s really easy to make this your home away from home although it might be slightly wasted for just one night, particularly as you are likely to avail yourself of the other half of the tale - the ground floor or hub. This huge area has a real buzz, morning, noon and night. During the day, worker bees, individual or in groups are glued to their laptops, making connections, generating ideas, electricity zipping around and all sustained by the bar, all day restaurant, deli, takeaway shop, outdoor terrace, mini cinema and for those who need a jolt of exercise, the gym. In the evening those young worker bees metamorphose into party animals (nice ones) who are out to enjoy themselves. If your a guest you’ll soon feel part of this fun local crowd and you just can’t help enjoy yourself. If this doesn’t quite sound like you, step outside and you are minutes away from Ancoats, the foodie neighbourhood offering delicacies from around the world or just order in and relax in your own domain.

"Allow some time to experience all that’s on offer in this former cotton warehouse, just a two-minute walk from Piccadilly station. As well as a 166-room design-led aparthotel, there’s a social hub on the ground floor with a restaurant, coffee shop, gym, bar and mini-cinema. Here hip locals hang out alongside guests"
