“With its fuss-free, Scandi-influenced rooms, and large and bright living-come-dining space, this is a great example of how to offer a designer hotel at a budget price. Midway between the Eurostar station and the Grand Place, it’s also well-located.”

Hotel Review

Don’t be put off by the location in a pedestrianised shopping street. Take the lift to the second floor and you’re in a bright and breezy world of light, Scandi design and chilled-outspaces. This hotel is an exemplar of how to offer a designer hotel at an affordable price. Bedrooms, with floor-to-ceiling windows, are light and uncluttered with off-white walls, pale-wood-effect floors, simple white wire-mesh furniture and pops of colour in feature walls. Clever ergonomic design makes the most of the space with a slatted wooden screen separating the bedroom from the bathroom (don’t worry, there is a lavatory cubicle). Rooms on the fourth floor have the best rooftop views.

A large Club Room invites with sofas and low tables at one end, and a bright café-bar at the other. Complimentary hot and cold drinks are offered plus - even better – complimentary tapas and aperitivo drinks every evening. On warmer days, there’s an outside terrace.

Breakfast is a handsome spread of fruit salads, breads, pastries, cold meats and cheeses with hot options of eggs and bacon. From midday, there’s a menu of simple dishes such as charcuterie and cheese boards. Service throughout from the young staff is bright and friendly.
