Designers OKU have based their resorts and their title on the Japanese concept of the same name, relating to the concept of the exploration of inner space. Explore and enjoy the hidden inner spaces of both the island and the self through the excellent guided meditation, yoga and pilates sessions available at the private beach-front shala. Spa and massage sessions feature locally sourced and produced oils and balms for a luxury and ecologically mindful experience.
Architecturally minimalist, the rooms and facilities exude calmness and tranquillity through the skilful use of natural materials and textiles. More than the sum of their parts, lodgings are extremely easy on the eye, with natural tones and delicate wooden beams compiling to create a stylish and comfortable modern refuge.
The open plan Kima Beach Club is inspired by farm-to-fork food philosophy and Michelin Star dining, utilising locally sourced meat and fish to create exciting dishes in styles from around the world, as well as an expansive range of vegetarian and vegan options. Sample the locally caught squid in a range of Asian-Greek dishes.
