Enjoying a wonderful location in the heart of the New Forest, Rhinefield House Hotel was built in the late 1880s as a family home and is set amid beautiful formal gardens with water features and manicured lawns aplenty. The fifty rooms range from the "classic" to "feature suites" offering four poster beds, rolltop baths with rainwater showers, and glorious views. Dining comes in various shapes and sizes. If you want something smart head for the Armada Restaurant (2 AA Rosettes), or for a more relaxed affair The Grill Rooms (modelled on the famous London Grill Rooms) should fit the bill - in nice weather you can even dine on the terrace.
