Nestled in a quieter corner of Palma old town, the Santa Clara Urban Hotel is set neatly away from the tourists trail though within an easy stroll of all the city's historic attractions. Original features such as exposed stone walls and elegant arches sit alongside bold contemporary artworks, and all tastefully integrated into swish contemporary interiors of this handsome 17th-century building. The 20 rooms continue the swish ancient-meets-modern aesthetic, plus some open to pretty balconies overlooking the charming medieval street. A bijou spa in the basement provides some space for pampering, while a two-tier rooftop terrace offers some superb views over the surrounding sea of terracotta tiling, to the iconic cathedral, and even as far as the hilltop Bellver Castle. Perfect for Local exploring and within walking distance of some of the town's top sights
