Mansion on Delaware

“Unexpected…perfect blend of historic and modern…cosmopolitan, European atmosphere in the heart of Buffalo”… just a few of the comments made by guests and media alike. The 2001 restoration of the historic building, erected in 1866, became a symbol of revival to the Buffalo community. The Mansion on Delaware Avenue is a wonderful example of Second Empire architecture, with its mansard roof, porticos and huge rounded, hooded windows harking back to a time when Buffalo was a profitable port and manufacturing center.
