“A stylish contemporary seaside hotel set between the beaches of Polzeath & Daymer. Flexible accommodation includes rooms, suites, self-catering apartments, & villas. With a Cowshed Spa (courtesy of Soho House), two pools, and a good restaurant this is a luxury break suitable for couples or families.”

Hotel review

The St Moritz was, in the 30s and 50s, a well known seaside institution that had fallen into disrepair by the end of the last century. Bought up and restored by Hugh Ridgway and others, the hotel has been recreated with something of the original art deco glamour, but with a family friendly twist. Surfing had not been invented in the 30s -nor had the luxurious spa it boasts today - and the hotel is geared firmly towards the whole range of family fun - two pools (indoor and outdoor), brasserie style eating, breezy seaside bedrooms, and plenty of activities, from surfing to tennis to sailing. There are spectacular walks in this area of Cornwall, too. For family fun in stylish surroundings. it's one of the best options on this beautiful part of the Cornish coast. Plenty of deals off season.
