Skiers will be thrilled with the 265kms of pistes in the Grand Massif region. Most of the slopes are north-facing and there are a number of snow cannons, so you can expect excellent snow throughout the season. Private and group lessons are available for children as well as adults, and there are runs suited to all abilities from beginners to advanced skiers. Zip along woodland runs just above the village, kick back in a café on the village square, or try ice-skating, dog sledding, ice climbing and late-night luge runs. Summer visitors can hike, mountain bike or go paragliding.

Evenings are for pampering spa treatments and sociable drinks at atmospheric bars. Unwind at one of the best places to stay in Les Carroz before heading out to explore nearby Flaine or Samoëns.
