See What They Say

Just away from the main part of Mahon, up a quiet but central street, is the charming Casa Alberti. It's independently run and beautifully decorated, with carefully chosen furnishings and artefacts, lovely linens and fabrics, and large bathrooms. Beautifully restored, with exposed wooden beams and tiled or wooden floors, the hotel is brimful with character. It also hosts regular art exhibitions and makes for a perfect stay if you are visiting the nearby Hauser and Wirth gallery across the harbour.

There is no restaurant, but delicious home made breakfasts are offered in the secluded courtyard garden, as well as help-yourself snacks and tea and coffee throughout the day. There's also an honesty bar, and a small roof terrace for sunbathing.
