Sciacca is a popular destination on the Sicilian coast; a pretty town, nestled between the Mediterranean and the Calogero mountain, it offers tranquillity, traditional Sicilian culture and excellent food. Recently it has also become a cycling hotspot, with 20km of cycle paths now connecting Sciacca with the neighbouring towns of Menfi and Porto Palo. Domus Maris Boutique Hotel has a coveted spot on the Sciacca coastline; there's a small additional cost to the sea view rooms but they are undoubtedly worth it. Many have a picturesque balcony where you can take your morning coffee. Rooms are simple and elegant, as well as generously sized; the hotel underwent a recent renovation and the facilities are high-quality, from the wooden floors and designer furnishings to the state-of-the-art minibar. While the hotel does not have a restaurant, guests can enjoy breakfast in the bright breakfast room or internal patio. Staff are happy to recommend which of the many fantastic local restaurants to sample and can make reservations for you to guarantee a table. Children are welcome at the hotel too, with options for families to add extra beds to create family rooms, which is great for parents. A comfortable and stylish hotel.
