Steeped in history and dating back to 1660, this hotel in a fishing village offers walks in the woods and on the sands. Bikes are available for hire and there is an excellent restaurant specialising in top quality steak and great wine from around the world, meaning you could happily spend days here without leaving the area. Horse drawn carriage rides to the nearby castle and guided tours of the historic area are all on offer. Visitors and business people can easily visit the city of Copenhagen by bus or from the nearby train station. The bus stop into the city, a 15-minute ride away, is right outside the hotel. Over half of the 22 rooms have generous balconies with sea views. Rooms are generous and comfortable with the whole place having a country house feel with a distinct Scandi twist. Enjoy a well-stocked mini bar and a superb breakfast in the beautiful dining room and staff who could not be more helpful and welcoming.
