Stonehurst Place feels like home the minute you walk in the door. This elegant clapboard and stone built townhouse is in a fabulous, historic, central location. The cleverly preserved interiors are stunning spaces with an eclectic mix of period and modern furnishing. Attention to detail is quite astounding. This is the place to step out of your cab with bundles of shopping and let it envelop you in its warmth and character. Stonehurst is a B&B but don't be concerned, after helping yourself to a glass of wine from the 'always open' bar cabinet, you can walk to a terrific Italian restaurant in two minutes and there are plenty of other options close by. Six rooms and suites with enormous comfy beds will spoil you in the most luxurious way possible. Landscaped gardens and a grand piano if you need to have a tinkle. And a gourmet breakfast to set you up for the day ahead, whether you're sightseeing or just succumbing to some retail therapy! Bliss....

Stonehurst Place is a 19th-century artwork-filled inn on a (requisitely tree-lined) residential street in midtown Atlanta. Original fireplaces, grand open-plan rooms and stone porches have had a few modern touches added for good measure: leather headboards, taupe tones and gleaming hardwood floors.
