“A slick modern hotel set in the heart of the up and coming NoMad district. Craftily designed rooms use limited space well with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows and smart wood furniture. The restaurant Lamalo serves Middle Eastern cuisine and has quickly become one of NoMad’s newest hidden gems.”

Hotel Review
High quality yet relatively inexpensive hotels are a rarity in Manhattan, but this one certainly fits the bill. In the trendy NoMad neighbourhood near the Empire State Building, Korea Town, Macy’s and Madison Square Garden, it packs a lot into its compact guest rooms and public areas. The small lobby has comfortable seating and a 24-hour bodega, there’s a relaxing bar and cosy lounge area on the second floor, plus a rooftop terrace with stunning views of the skyline. Colourful, contemporary artworks sit well with the bright, minimalist decor. The 248 guest rooms are small and plain, but all you need. Its Lamalo Restaurant, serving fab Middle Eastern food, has an extraordinary buzz in the evenings, no doubt due to its generally youthful clientele.
