A cool, arty 10-bedroom townhouse hotel in residential Pimlico with friendly staff and interior designer owners. Modern art hangs across the rooms and communal areas, including the restaurant and bar, which are popular in their own right and serve fresh, healthy food. Breakfast blends into lunch here and is served until 3pm (think fresh juices, avocado toast, shakshuka) while dinner and cocktails are available in the evening. The well-lit bedrooms and suites balance comfort and design with wooden floorboards, distressed wooden furniture, exposed brickwork and fun, quirky details such as upturned wooden crates for bedside tables. While suites have the addition of roll-top baths, all bathrooms are stylish with individual tiling in greys and whites and natural Bramley products. All have Roberts radios, Nespresso coffee machines and mini bars filled with the likes of Sipsmith, Fever-Tree, Rococo Chocolates and Joe & Seph’s popcorn.
