Babuino 181 is a tale of two eras: the exterior is classic Roman palazzo, whilst the interior couldn't be more contemporary. The luxury suites are all well appointed and equipped with most of the modern gadgetry you could wish for - free wifi, iPod docks, Nespresso machines and touch control lighting are all standard. The beds are dressed with Frette linens and luxurious silk filled duvets; marble bathrooms are well stocked with classy toiletries. The location is what really matters though - it doesn't get much better! Situated between the Spanish Steps and the Piazza del Popolo, the whole of Rome is within your grasp, whether you want to browse the designer boutiques or gasp in awe at the major attractions. In summer months there's even a roof terrace where you can take breakfast with a view, or sip a glass of Prosecco as the sun goes down.
