Hotel Review

This is the only island offering a fun, lively time on the Mamanuca and Yasawa island range. Live music and late night dancing. You can get away from it all but at least it is on tap. Quite a student, gap-year feel. Close by is Bounty Island contrasting with half a dozen silent-type guests. Here you get to sleep by the beach in wood-and-straw huts called bures. They are furnished modestly in a seafaring style with wicker baskets and deck chairs. Fairly priced for a ‘desert island paradise’. Very ordinary food saved by local exotic fruits. You can swim round the whole island in 15 minutes in a calm sea with few rocks. The coral and fish are great for snorkelling and diving. And the beach is made up of heavenly white sand.
