Though you wouldn’t know it from the modernist building it now occupies, this is the city’s oldest hotel, dating back to 1522, now part of the Best Western franchise and located right in the heart of Ljubljana, just a few steps from the famous Three Bridges, countless tourist attractions and the shopping district. Designed primarily for business travellers: you wont find any of the original 16th century decor inside. The rooms are bright and colourful and there’s a relaxation zone comprising a Finnish sauna and a small gym. A convenient and comfortable base from which to explore the delights of Ljubljana.
