Bio Habitat Hotel offers a unique, eco-friendly immersion in nature with a distinctly boutique feel. Nestled in the midst of a native forest in the Quindío mountains, the hotel's individual suites or 'habitats' offer breathtaking mountain, forest and coffee plantation vistas. With a pool, holistic wellness centre and outdoor firepit, it is a magical mountain bolt-hole. Just half an hour's drive from Eden airport, the hotel is not as hard to reach as you might think. The journey is well worth the trouble, too; the hotel's private suites are built on platforms in the mountain, giving the impression that they are suspended in the forest. The habitats boast terraces, exposed stone walls and industrial details for contrast. Book a deluxe suite for a private hot tub with breathtaking views. The hotel has a central hub with a living area, swimming pool and outdoor firepit. The self-professed 'slow food' restaurant prioritizes local ingredients, with hand-made dishes inspired by nature. There are no shortage of activities on offer either; choose from a range of 'experiences' when you reserve your room, from mountain biking to birdwatching or trekking.
