The Butterfly House is a vibrant yet relaxed eco-chic beach resort located on the Peninsula of Marau, an isolated paradise virtually unreachable by land. It offers luxurious, authentic Moroccan, French and Bahian themed lodgings; five huts of differing sizes and three suites, all fitted with air-conditioning and flat screen TVs. The palm-surrounded pool, bamboo deck areas, yoga classes and seemingly endless Praia de Saquaíra beach are ideal for those wanting to regenerate and rejuvenate their bodies. One may be tempted to make the short jeep ride to the slightly livelier Barra Grande in the evening, were it not for the exotic cocktails and personalised fusion dining served on the moonlit veranda. The wonderful Chloe and her enthusiastic team, whose vast knowledge of the local area and general energy, allows guests to enjoy the pristine sands and turquoise waters of the 24km long strand, completely stress-free.
