Hotel Review
Chateau de Chailly is a classified National Monumet that has been lovingly restored and transformed into a haven for both wine lovers and active types. Situated in an enviable location with easy access to Dijon, Beaune and a miriad of Burgundian vineyards, villages and more, Chateau de Chailly offers the perfect base whether you're here for the wine, the golf or a relaxing country escape. There are forty five rooms and suites, with a couple of family rooms which can easily accommodate two adults and two children. All are traditional in style and feature the modern comforts you'd expect: flat screen TVs, free wifi, fluffy bathrobes...There's also good choice when it comes to dining. Restaurant L'Armancon is a gourmet affair where you'll discover the delights of classic Burgundian cuisine (albeit with a modern twist), whilst Bistro le Rubillon is an atmospheric space (located in the chateau's original kitchens), with the emphasis on traditional bistro fare. If you've come for the golf, you won't be disappointed. The eighteen hole course enjoys a beautiful parkland setting and will test even the keenest. For those who are here to improve, there's a practice area and professional staff on hand for lessons or advice. An ideal family friendly base for an active Burgundy break.
