Hotel Review

Though nestling amongst farms and vineyards like any other quintessential countryside hotel in France, Disini's heart is really a thousand miles away: the place is littered with artefacts from the near east and Asia, and the hotel itself is a clarion-call to African colour and design. However, Disini is a place of modern, luxury comfort and style: the rooms are sleek and minimalist in design, with marble-tiled bathrooms and carpeted floors. Each room has A/C, a flatscreen TV, wifi, minibar and a bathroom, and guests have access to a range of amenities, including the impressive wellness centre, boasting a range of beauty treatments, an outdoor swimming pool, spa, Jacuzzi and a Turkish bath. While breakfast is not included, there is an on-site restaurant that cooks only fresh, regional and seasonal cuisine, and has a fine selection of Languedoc wines. They also have fully-equipped, multimedia meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 50 people, and the hotel itself can hold up to 200 people in total, standing, in the event of a wedding. Only 15 minutes from Montpellier and just a stone's throw away from the Aqueduct de Castries that runs into the city, it is ideally-located for exploring the region. The Promenade du Peyrou, a wonderful 18th century monument that stands side-by-side the aqueduct, is worth seeing for it's beautiful neoclassical architectural style. Only 5 minutes away is the Chateau du Flaugergues, a beautiful castle known for its lush and well-adorned gardens.
