“Gorgeous restored timber-framed farmhouse come B&B nestled in the Avon valleys. Luxurious, chic rooms with private bathrooms overlook the working farmland and gardens. Food is at the heart of the Manor, with diverse and imaginative menus, farm-to-fork ethos and an established cookery school. ”

Hotel review

Lovely old timber-framed building, recently restored to a glory it probably never knew in its life as a working farmhouse. Antique furniture is wittily picked out in contemporary jewel-coloured fabrics and some rooms feature exquisitely hand-painted silk wallpapers. My bed came up trumps after a steamy blast under the dinnerplate-sized showerhead in the Fired Earth bathroom. And for breakfast, home-baked bread, just-laid eggs and deliciously salty bacon were a splendid send-off after a very fine night’s kip.
