“A piece of Paris in Boston? This hotel on Commonwealth Avenue which was modelled on the Champs Elysee would like to think so. Comfortable rooms and a popular French restaurant give this hotel the ooh la-la factor.”

Hotel review

The Eliot in the cool Back Bay area claims to offer guests a touch of Paris in Boston - no surprise in the Eurocentric capital of Massachusetts and at this location overlooking Commonwealth Avenue which was modelled on the Champs Elysee. (Safe to assume the Paris-ness does not extend to the kind of surly service visitors can sometimes encounter in the French capital). French food par excellence is served in the hotel's Clio restaurant and Sushi in the Uni Sashimi Bar. The multi award-winning Eliot is immaculately presented and decorated with spacious, elegant comfortable rooms.
