“The Grand Dame of Stockholm, overlooking the harbour and the royal palace. Feel like royalty in the elegant rooms, magnificent suites, and grand reception rooms. Boasting two Michelin starred restaurants and a rejuvenating Nordic spa. A historic spot with to explore the city from. ”

Hotel review

If you are fond of old ladies you will love the Grand. One old lady liked it so much that she recently stayed for two years. Service impeccable, but not stuffy. Three restaurants, one very fine (two Michelin stars). This is where you stay if you win a Nobel prize. But perfect flowers and pillared halls are not quite enough to put the Grand on the pedestal it ought - by virtue of age, price and location - to occupy. Dated décor and furnishings look historic in modern Stockholm.
