Agonda Beach is much quieter than some of its northern neighbours owning to the fact that it is a turtle hatching beach. Popular amongst Brits, H2O is the best option for accommodation on this laid-back stretch of sand. Chic beach huts are much more spacious and lighter than your usual ones - and they feature proper bathrooms! Decorated in bright pop colours they attract a young, vibrant crowd - this is far from a 'traveller' hang out though. Whilst facilities are limited (no pool, no TVs) there is an indulgent Ayurvedic spa and reliable wifi internet keeps you connected.. Agonda is not about five star facilities though - it is all about those pristine beaches, long lunches that turn into dinner and sunset strolls. Whilst the menu is simple the fresh fish dishes are excellent and plentiful - it would take a while to get bored of them. If planning a visit to South Goa then this is an excellent option.
