Albi, hometown of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec sits in the expansive landscape of the Midi-Pyrenees and plays host to a museum of the painter's work and the truly magnificent Sainte-Cecile Cathedral. Staying at Alchimy hotel is a luxurious treat. Staff are exceptionally helpful co-managed by brother-sister duo, Nicholas and Laura. The hotel is super high spec and hi-tech. Spacious rooms have touch-lighting and are sumptuously furnished with designer chairs, lush silk satin curtains, oversized urns and exotic art. En suite Carrara marble bathrooms are concealed behind sliding mirrored doors and have 3-headed walk-in showers and Philippe Starck multi-functional "sensowash" spray shower toilets with heated seats. The popular in-house brasserie serves gourmet cuisine in an atrium lit by an impressive Murano glass chandelier. Breakfast can be taken in the dining room or in the comfort of your lavish quarters.

Why do people love staying in your hotel? Alchimy is the tiniest hotel in Albi with only 7 rooms, and therefore we have the time to take care of our customers and to take into account their requests. What is there to do in the area? Albi is a UNESCO city, meaning that the entire town is very beautiful and pleasant to walk around. We do have also the Toulouse Lautrec Museum, because the famous painter was born in Albi. We have also the Cathedrale St Cécile which is the biggest brick built cathedral in the world. Around Albi their is many beautiful villages to visit. What kind of breakfast do you offer? We do propose 2 different breakfast. Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally? We have a brasserie in site. Which are your most popular room types, and why? Our 7 rooms are quite similar, well designed, huge and very comfortable, their is no room more appreciated than another. What facilities do you have for children and can you fit extra beds in your rooms ? We can fit extra bed in almost each rooms, and bed for baby too. Those additionnal beds are on option.
No croissants for me; today I’m eating smoked salmon and charcuterie for my breakfast outside Alchimy, a boutique hotel and brasserie that would sit comfortably in any fashionable Parisian street.
