Set across numerous listed Georgian connected terrace houses, the typical guest here includes parents of Cambridge students and couples. Wine lovers will appreciate the chic basement bar and well-stocked wine cellar, where it’s possible to enjoy a private wine tasting too. And the candle-lit, inviting bistro sits at the heart of the hotel; serving up tasty, classic British and French dishes with, unsurprisingly, an extensive wine menu where knowledgeable sommeliers make excellent recommendations. Rooms are comfortable, clean, spacious and great value, featuring L'Occitane toiletries, free-standing baths, and crisp, fresh bed linen.
