“A haven in the heat of Marrakech. Ten African eco-lodges sprawling through an acre of garden. Combining contemporary design and a hint of traditional Moroccan craftsmanship. Absolute barefoot luxury and wellbeing in a private setting. The ideal relaxation spot for couples.”

Hotel review

This is a hotel designed with style and simplicity in mind and a refreshing alternative to the ubiquitous Riads in the Medina. An olive-tree shaded garden is dotted with 10 luxurious, thatched eco-lodges which combine traditional moroccan craftsmanship with thoroughly contemporary details and excellent bathrooms. Surrounded by these delightful private villas is a divine swimming pool, which, crucially, is heated in the winter, making Les Cinq Djellabas equally dreamy in all seasons. The food is excellent and fresh with a menu that combines Moroccan and international cuisine, and the service is warm and committed. Keen golfers can play a number of nearby courses, and the hotel is also happy to lay on activities such as quad biking and camel riding. If you’re looking for total relaxation, a place to chill out away from the heat and dust of the Medina, you’ve found it here.
