“A 17th-century hotel, steps from Nyhavn Harbor. Interiors inspired by the greys and browns of artist Vilhelm Hammershøi, blend modern Danish design with the warmth of historic sophistication. There are 2 restaurants: inventive Nordic cuisine at Format or modern Italian at Tempo. Contemporary luxury.”

Hotel SKT. Annæ Copenhagen, Denmark
This family-owned hotel is very well situated on a central street near Nyhavn, and has 147 rooms (many of them recently refurbished) spread over two neighbouring townhouses. The jewel in its crown is the excellent in-house restaurant, Format, serving inventive modern Nordic food.
