“A 5-star hotel overlooking Grand Harbour. Exquisite rooms feature plush decor, picture windows, and iconic Maltese balconies; some come with terraces and private plunge pools. There's a topnotch restaurant, plus a luxe spa with indoor pool. A magical mix of old and new, with views to die for.”

Iniala Harbour House Valletta, Malta

Facing the Grand Harbour and the golden-stoned Three Cities that stretch just beyond it, Iniala’s panorama is unmatched by any other hotel in Valletta, Malta’s tiny capital. The city’s miniscule footprint means all of its attractions are moments away, from the staggering grandeur of the gilded Saint John’s Co-Cathedral to its imposing National Library and the hodgepodge of cute little bars and restaurants that cascade down its tiered pedestrianised side streets and stretch across its plazas. Their protected status meant few structural changes could be made to the buildings that comprise Iniala; as a result, each of the hotel’s 23 bedrooms and suites differs to such a degree that guests can choose from 16 different room categories.
