“Romantic farmhouse in tiny hamlet with cosy rooms and gourmet three Michelin-starred restaurant. Phenomenal food, quaint rustic wooden panelled rooms, and a wonderful spa. A charming gourmet treat. ”

Hotel review

This enchanting 18th-century Savoyard farmhouse opened in 1976, its aim to feed hungry skiers. What started as a restaurant with rooms is now a gastronomic restaurant with three Michelin stars, run by father and son René and Maxime Meilleur. The multi-course menu is ravishing, with exquisite tiny portions. There are also eight chocolate box bedrooms (Aurélie and Angeline are favourites), all deliciously rustic with creaky wooden floors, ancient beams and cowbells. Homemade pastries and jams for breakfast and wild strawberries, straight from the meadows.
